The Sadio Cissokho Band presents a current program of world music compositions written by the bandleader. With great enthusiasm and a musical spectrum ranging from pulsating Afro beats to jazzy, bluesy passages, reggae and dreamy ballads, the four experienced musicians have only one goal - to inspire their audience and take them on a journey into exotic worlds of sound.​

Sadio Cissokho comes from a family of musicians in Senegal and proved early on to be an absolute talent on the kora (African harp) and the djembe drum. After numerous musical stations, projects and tours, he ended up in Switzerland, where he devotes himself to the further development of his compositions and songs.

Stephan Rigert is regarded as a pioneer of percussion music in Switzerland. He gained international renown with his Talking Drums projects. He has played with Rhani Krisha, Paul Mc Candless and Cindy Blackman, among others.

Manuel Siebs is a virtuoso percussion player and event-coach from Switzerland. He reached two university master's degrees on his exotic instruments. Concerts with various formations have taken him all over Europe.

Claudio Berger studied bass at the Lucerne School of Music and is known for his great musicality and precision. Stylistically, he knows almost no boundaries and has collaborated with acts such as Zeal & Ardor, Discosaster and the Citylight Symphony Orchestra.

Claudio von Arx  studied saxophone and education at the Lucerne School of Jazz and is professionally active as a music teacher, live performer, and music producer. He played with groups such as Steff la Cheffe,  Kummerbuben, Churchhill, Da Cruz and others at Montreux Jazz Festival and Paleo-Festival trough Eurpe and China.
